Two-year degree, or high school education and minimum of one to two years of experience resolving technical problems.•Technical certifications or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•Experience installing/configuring PC’s, printers, and peripheral devices.
•Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7), Microsoft Office 2010, and Internet Explorer.
•Experience in teaching basic computer and Microsoft Office skills preferred.
•Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
•Skill in problem-solving and issue resolution.
•Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel using the English language.
•Ability to assess resident and staff complaints, and resolve disputes in a friendly professional manner.

This position provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed by the Chef. The assistant assembles prepared food and utensils on trays on the tray line, and is responsible for set-up and clean-up of the glasses, dishware and silverware used for meal service for all dining rooms. The assistant must maintain all work and work areas appropriately and in compliance with food code sanitation standards and community policies and procedures. This position is required to work alone at times and as part of a team at times in a moving assembly tray line and is required to complete assigned tasks daily that may include trash removal, operating the dish machine, and special clean-up. This position is in contact with co-workers and residents occasionally and must provide a positive impression of the dining services department and must project a friendly and helpful manner in all contacts.
