Resident Ruth Nelson Establishes
Faculty Chair at University of
Wisconsin-Madison
R esident Ruth Nelson, who graduated from the University
of Wisconsin-Madison in 1948, wanted to express her gratitude
for how education laid the foundation for her successful
career. She watched the business world transform before her
eyes as she spent many years in the publishing industry.
So Ruth established the Ruth L. Nelson Chair in Business at
the Wisconsin School of Business, as announced in November.
Anne P. Massey, a professor of Operations and Information
Management at WSB, holds the chair for the 2018-19 academic
year.
