Employee of the Month Program
This program recognizes employees who consistently contribute to the quality of life for residents of The Clare in a manner exceeding job requirements, and those who perform their job requirements in a manner of excellence and cooperation with fellow employees.
Employee of the Year Award
All Employee of the Month winners become eligible for this annual award.
End-of-Year Bonus From Residents
Residents have formed The Clare Gift Trust, which organizes an annual monetary collection to provide all hourly employees with an End-of-Year Bonus based on hours worked and years of service.
Extraordinary Impressions Program
This short-term program aims to acknowledge and celebrate extraordinary acts by employees that happen at The Clare every day. Residents, managers and coworkers alike, submit “Caught You” cards, detailing instances of employees going above and beyond the call of duty; and all cards are entered into a drawing to win prizes at monthly All Staff Meetings.
Mentor Program
This program supplements clinical orientation and provides new employees the opportunity to seek advice regarding professional development, strive for continuous learning, develop goals and commit to the purpose and principles of The Clare. Participation is required for all Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Resident Care Assistants (RCAs), Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
Tuition Assistance Program
Educational reimbursement for tuition costs, books, supplies, and fees is available up to $2,000 annually per qualified employee from The Clare. In addition, up to $4,000 in reimbursement from residents via The Clare Gift Trust, as well as available computer reimbursement.
Employee Referral Program
The Clare’s Employee Referral Program allows for employees to work with others they feel would be an asset to the community.
