The annual Employee Appreciation Breakfast organized and run by the Dining Employee Appreciation Breakfast.
Committee was held on June 20. The event serves as an opportunity for
Clare residents to thank employees, and it was widely hailed as a big success.
Employees especially enjoy homemade creations, particularly the cinnamon rolls
that Harlean Barth makes every year.
Harlean Barth’s Cinnamon Roll Recipe
• Take one box of Pillsbury Hot Roll mix and add 2
tablespoons of soft butter, 1 egg and 1 cup of hot water.
• Mix ingredients with floured hands and allow to rise for
45 minutes.
• Roll out the dough on a floured cloth, covering it with
melted butter, ½ cup of brown sugar, 1½ teaspoons of
sugar and 1½ teaspoons of cinnamon.
• Roll the dough like a jelly roll and cut into 1½-inch slices.
Allow them to rise for another 45 minutes.
• Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Sheila Rock and Camille Tracer
