While the music differs in language and tone from
what is performed by the seven Chicago-area chorale
groups Jonathan organizes, the enthusiasm was much

voices to more than 60, and his videos showed a range
of choreography and expression as they performed folk
songs from their homelands.
The Gold Coast Encore Chorale meets at 12pm on
Mondays at The Clare. Prospective members are welcome
to sit in on rehearsal and join the choir, which is open to
those over the age of 55. No audition is required.
