The Clare Wins Annual
Aqua Volleyball Tourney
LAST YEAR, The Clare’s neighboring LCS community,
Sedgebrook traveled to the city for a water volleyball
tournament and took home a victory. This year,
however, after several practices throughout September,

their competition with Sedgebrook – and victorious!

During Open House Chicago
ANNE SCOTT served as a docent at the Ingersoll-
Blackwelder House during the Chicago Architecture
Center’s Open House Chicago in October. The annual
weekend-long event offers behind-the-scenes access to
more than 250 buildings across Chicago. The Ingersoll-
Blackwelder House, located in the Ridge Historic District
and built between 1874 and 1877, was once owned by the Back Row: Fitness Manager Leah Okner, Conny Tozer, Beth and
first woman to vote in a local election in Cook County, HD Mitchell; Front Row: Joanne Celewycz, Carolyn Driscoll,
